Position: Accounting Clerk

Location: Montgomery County 

SPS Consulting seeks highly organized and detail- oriented Accounting Clerk to support our government customer in the Montgomery County area. Duties may be varied but fall under extensive office and administrative support services.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Answering emails and phone calls regarding financial inquiries from customers
  • Making check deposits
  • Processing customer payments 
  • Performing customer account analysis as needed
  • Performing other related clerical tasks

Requirements:

  • High School diploma and 2-4 years of experience as an office support
  • Experience with financial activities including the processing of invoices and maintenance of financial data is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, excellent communication skills, trustworthiness and collaboration skills
  • A resourceful and independent worker capable of self-managing their time and tasks
  • Ability to efficiently operate office equipment, including desktop computers, fax machine, copier and printers
